FindingYou.io helps you show up in AI search: it audits any web page for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — how ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews read, trust, and recommend it — then returns a prioritized fix list to get cited more. The free 90-second preview returns a GEO Health Index, citation rate, and your top fixes; the full website report is a one-time $29, no subscription.
Pricing: free previews, one-time reports

Frequently asked questions
What is Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)?
GEO is the practice of optimizing content so AI engines — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews — retrieve it, trust it, and cite it in their answers. Where SEO targets a ranking on a results page, GEO targets being part of the answer itself.
How is GEO different from SEO?
SEO optimizes for crawlers ranking pages; GEO optimizes for language models assembling answers. That shifts the work toward extractable structure (direct answers, FAQs, tables), verifiable evidence, entity clarity (schema, consistent naming), and corroboration across independent sources. Good SEO still helps — GEO builds on it.
How does FindingYou.io measure AI visibility?
We crawl your page, run a deterministic audit of 30+ retrieval signals plus a technical audit of your HTML, schema, and AI-crawler access, then build a prompt universe of realistic buyer questions and test a sample of them against live search-grounded AI answers to compute your citation rate. The full method is on our Methodology page.
Which AI engines does the audit cover?
Visibility testing runs your prompt sample against live engines: Gemini with real Google Search grounding on every audit, plus live Perplexity, ChatGPT (web search), and Claude (web search). The per-engine table in your report marks each rate as live-measured; anything estimated is labeled as an estimate. The full trade-offs are documented in our methodology.
Why are my results different from what I see when I ask ChatGPT myself?
Your own ChatGPT session is personalized — memory, chat history, location, and phrasing all change the answer you see. We query engines as a neutral, logged-out baseline: the answer a new buyer with no history gets, which is the thing GEO can actually move. AI answers are also probabilistic, so we test a sample of prompts and report a citation rate rather than relying on any single answer.
Why did my score change between runs?
The structural and technical pillar scores are deterministic — they move only when your page changes. The live citation sample is measured against real AI engines, which answer probabilistically and update constantly, so that component naturally varies a few points between runs. Watch the trend: signed-in re-runs of the same URL show your score delta automatically.
What if the crawler can’t access my site?
Some sites block automated requests (Cloudflare bot protection, strict firewalls). Switch to Draft mode and paste your page copy — the content analysis is identical. Being unreachable is itself a GEO finding: if our crawler is blocked, several AI crawlers likely are too, and the technical audit shows exactly which.
I paid — when do I get the full report?
Immediately: the report you were viewing unlocks in place, usually within seconds of checkout. You also get an email with a permanent link, and the report stays under My Reports for the life of your account — so a lost email never costs you access. If anything looks stuck, the Help page walks through it.
Can I re-run the audit after making fixes?
Yes — free previews are unlimited, so re-run as often as you like and watch your Health Index move; signed-in re-runs of the same URL show the delta against your previous run. Each one-time unlock buys the complete report for that snapshot; unlock again only when you want a fresh full action plan for the updated page.
What do I get free, and what does the $29 unlock?
The free preview includes your GEO Health Index, citation rate, pillar scores, and the top three fixes — no signup needed to run it. The one-time $29 unlocks everything: the full action queue, prompt universe, source-influence table, all five optimization plans, copy-paste deliverables (FAQ block, JSON-LD, llms.txt, metadata rewrite), and PDF export.
Is the $29 a subscription?
No. It is a one-time payment per report, processed by Stripe, and your unlocked report stays available permanently under My Reports. If you want ongoing coverage, signed-in users can schedule free monitoring re-scans (daily, weekly, or monthly) with email alerts when your score regresses, and there is a separate optional MCP subscription that connects Claude or any MCP client to your GEO findings — but the report itself is never a subscription.
How does FindingYou.io compare to a manual GEO audit or hiring an agency?
FindingYou.io runs the audit a consultant would — 30+ retrieval signals, schema and AI-crawler checks, and live citation sampling across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude — in about 90 seconds for a free preview, with the full report a one-time $29 instead of a monthly retainer. An agency adds human strategy and ongoing hands-on work; FindingYou.io is best when you want a fast, repeatable, engine-tested baseline and a prioritized fix list you can act on yourself.
What is Agent GEO and the Agent Readiness Report?
Agent GEO is our second audit: where the website report measures whether AI search cites your content, the Agent Readiness Report measures whether AI systems discover and select your MCP server or agent. It checks official MCP Registry presence, syndication directories, the Anthropic and OpenAI directory-review rubrics, tool-metadata quality, a simulated run of Claude's tool search against your tools, and emerging trust standards (A2A agent cards, Web Bot Auth, OAuth resource metadata, and forward-looking x402/AP2 agent-payment signals). The free scan returns your grade and top issues; the full report is $49 one-time ($29 for existing customers).
Is there a free version of the Agent Readiness Report?
Yes. The Agent Readiness scan is free and needs no signup: enter an MCP server URL, npm package, or repo and you get your readiness grade plus the top issues holding back discovery and selection. The full report — the complete checklist, simulated Claude tool-search retrieval, and a copy-ready listing pack — is a one-time $49 ($29 for existing customers). It is best for anyone shipping an MCP server or agent who wants to be found and selected by AI systems.
Can AI agents use FindingYou.io directly?
Yes. FindingYou.io runs its own MCP server at /api/mcp exposing two free tools — audit_mcp_server and get_agent_readiness_score — so Claude, ChatGPT, or any custom agent can run a scan programmatically. There is also a plain JSON scan API, a public verify page for every scan, and an embeddable live grade badge. Public grades are never improvable by payment.
What is the paid MCP subscription, and how is it different from the free MCP tools?
The free MCP server at /api/mcp runs read-only agent-readiness scans. The optional MCP subscription is a paid, suggest-only connector: you connect Claude (or any MCP client) with an API key or OAuth, and it reads your GEO findings, deliverables, retrieval traps, own-page citations, and edit simulations — and, on higher tiers, proposes apply-ready (suggest-only) fix change-sets and IDE-tailored fix prompts. It never touches your site or your credentials. Tiers are Insights ($49/mo), Apply ($149/mo), and Apply + CMS ($299/mo); you connect and manage keys under MCP API Keys.
Do you store my content?
Anonymous audits are processed in memory and not saved. If you analyze while signed in, the report (including extracted page text) is stored in your account so you can revisit and unlock it; you can delete your reports at any time. We never use your content to train models.
How long does an audit take?
About 60–90 seconds for a typical page: the crawl takes a few seconds, and most of the time is spent running live AI-answer tests across your prompt sample.
